Rustic Vine came to life in the picturesque town, Clarens, in the Free State. I wanted to create something different to the other restaurants in Clarens. With no formal training in the kitchen but armed with a passion for food and a love for cooking Rustic Vine was born and became a beautiful addition to my art gallery. What a beautiful combination... Enjoying a glass of wine while appreciating the magnificent talents of our South African artists. Curl into one of our comfort chairs with an art book or magazine and be transported into a world of beauty and wonder. I was heartbroken when I had to close my doors in Clarens in the beginning of Covid but it brought me to where I am today. As a firm believer in destiny I trust that our new home here in the heart of Linden in this beautiful tranquil setting is where we belong! We serve Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Charcuterie Boards, Swiss Cheese Fondue, Food & Wine Pairing. We also pride ourselves in hosting exquisite private events. From intimate weddings to birthday parties complete with tailor made menus and decor to suit any occasion. We have a separate menu for Special Events.
